DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy The purpose of this program is to "unearth" the development process for vacant land or land undergoing redevelopment; discuss factors that can affect development, including land and its uses, laws that regulate land use; evaluation of site conditions; and determination of the feasibility of a proposed new project. Knowledge of these things will allow you to assist your customer to successfully navigate land being redeveloped or a vacant land transaction, whether the purchase is for customers looking for land on which to build their dream home or for a client wanting to develop a new subdivision or retail establishment. Linda is a real estate course author and instructor, is on the Florida REALTORS faculty, teaches classes through Georgia's PIE program, is a Tennessee Real Estate Commission-approved instructor and is approved by NAR to teach Discovering Commercial Real Estate and under their REBAC program to teach the 2-day Green Designation course. Linda has been writing and teaching continuing education courses since 2010.Linda brings a unique perspective to the real estate field as she has a MS degree in Ecology and 20+ years of experience as an environmental consultant working on projects throughout Florida.
